I have been using acrylic paint for more than 15 years. I find its flexibility appealing and value its reduced impact on the environment. While I have focused on painting landscapes, I look forward to exploring different subject matters in my future pieces.

Bio

Untitled Art

by Linda Wang

Linda's passion for art blossomed when she was just three years old, attending art classes alongside her older brother. Throughout middle and high school, she pursued drawing through elective courses and spent her free time sketching and writing.

During her college years, she discovered her love for painting with acrylics while taking courses in Fine Arts. Influenced by Impressionism and inspired by Claude Monet, her early works reflected these styles.

In 2006, Linda introduced a series of miniature paintings titled "Petite Art," consisting of 2x3 acrylic on canvas pieces displayed in custom frames. The aim was to provide art for compact spaces like office cubicles, hair salon stations, college dorm rooms, and any area in need of artistic inspiration.

After obtaining a B.A. in Psychology/Social Behavior and an M.A. in Social Work, she dedicated over a decade to working in Hospice care. Recently, she reignited her passion for art by crafting a collection of landscape paintings for an exhibition in Joshua Tree, CA.
